Tender wedding vows for a partner at a garden ceremony

I remember the morning we planted tomatoes in that tiny yard, how you knelt in the dirt with your sleeves rolled up, laughing when I put the seedlings in backwards. You didn't correct me—you just gently turned them around and said we'd learn together. That's who you've always been with me.

Today, surrounded by all this green and growing life, I vow to tend our love with the same patience you showed those plants. I'll water us with attention on the ordinary days, pull the weeds of resentment before they take root, and celebrate every bloom, no matter how small.
