Start your paired vows

Fill this in once, together. Both of your first names, the one shared memory you both want named, what each of you wants to promise, the tone. We’ll write paired vows — his and hers (or theirs) that reference the same memory from both sides — and deliver them in about a minute for $19. Every name and specific detail in the vows comes from this form; we never invent the moments that matter to you.

Where we'll send your vows. No account, no follow-up marketing.

Format: YYYY-MM-DD.

Affects the formality calibration.

Person A (speaks first)

e.g. she/her, he/him, they/them. Affects vow phrasing.

What this person wants to promise

38bullets. The model uses ALL of them, weighted in order, so put the most important promise first. Specific beats abstract every time (“keep showing up for the cadence call” beats “always be there”).

Person B (speaks second)

e.g. she/her, he/him, they/them. Affects vow phrasing.

What this person wants to promise

38bullets. The model uses ALL of them, weighted in order, so put the most important promise first. Specific beats abstract every time (“keep showing up for the cadence call” beats “always be there”).

2–3 sentences. This sets the opening hook for both sides of the vows.

The one shared moment both sides will reference — the lighthouse storm, the first apartment kitchen, the hike where it clicked. It will appear on both sides of the vows so the ceremony reads as one rite.

Formal ↔ tender. Affects register, not content.

Serious ↔ playful. Controls how much room comic timing gets.

In-joke

A line that lands on both sides with a beat of recognition between them. Optional — many couples don’t have one, and inventing one for the sake of it makes the vows worse, not better.

People you want honored OBLIQUELY in the vows — never named directly. Often: a parent who passed, a friend who couldn't be there, anyone you want carried in the moment without making them the subject of the line. We'll keep their name out of the body text.

Include the “I do” / “I will” formula?

Most personal vows skip this — the legal exchange is led separately by the officiant.
